Dorothy princess of Oz illustration attempt

This is a scene from the first chapter of my Wizard of Oz story, "Dorothy Princess of Oz" I'm not very good at drawing illustrations. Backgrounds are too complicated for me and hard to get right. In this scene, Dorothy, Princess Ozma, Toto, Eureka, and Patrick the tiny piglet are sitting on a couch in Omza's living room. Ozma presents Dorothy with the sliver shoes she lost when she first left Oz. It's not perfect but it gives some kind of idea of what the Oz characters in my story are like. I could have drawn the animals a big taller.
